4.3 Setting GK Parameters
The GK functions as a bridge to transfer call information between videoconferencing
endpoints and the MCU, translates the addresses of the videoconferencing endpoints and the
MCU, and controls calls and bandwidth.
Procedure

Whether the MCU registers with a GK.
Selected: The MCU registers with a GK. After the
MCU registers with a GK, the GK functions as a
bridge to transfer call information between endpoints
and the MCU, translates the addresses of the
endpoints and MCU, and controls calls and
bandwidth. If you have defined participants on the
MCU and the participants and MCU have registered
with the same GK, the MCU can call the participants
using their IP addresses or numbers.
