Low speed
(50%

speed)
When fans rotate at a constantly low speed, noise levels meet
the NEBS standard, and the fans meet heat dissipation
requirements of a fully configured system.

Linear
variation
The fan speed is adjusted smoothly and linearly, without
sudden increases in noise.

Fans
Fans rotate at high speeds to meet heat dissipation
requirements.
1.2.5.3 Air Filter
This section describes the appearance and features of air filters.
The USG9560 draws air from the front and exhausts air from the rear. There is a 3 U high
space in the upper part of the chassis and an air filter on the front of the chassis. To maximize
air intake, the filter is fully perforated. The air filter is fixed to the chassis with a fastener to
facilitate filter removal and replacement.

NOTE
Placing a black sponge air filter in front of the air intake vent helps prevent dust from entering the
system. You are advised to remove and clean air filters at least once every three months.
1.2.6 Switch Frabric
This section describes the mechanism of the switch fabric on the USG9560.
