optical fiber of the USG9500.

A.1.1 DC Power Cable

This section describes the DC power cables of the USG9500 with DC power supply. Learn
about the structure and specifications of the DC power cable before you make or purchase any
power cables for the USG9500.

A.1.1.1 DC Power Cable of the USG9580

This section describes the DC power cable of the USG9580.

DC power cables are used as:

l

DC-input power cables.

l

Cables between the AC power chassis and device.

Structure and Appearance

The DC power cable consists of a -48 V power cable NEG(-), and a cable RTN (+). The
power cable transfers -48 V DC from the DC distribution equipment to the terminal block of
the USG9500 power module, supplying power for the USG9500.

The DC power cables of the USG9500 are delivered in an integrated way. Cut the power
cables to adjust them according to site requirements.
