3. Holding the captive screws of the SPC, pull out the SPC, as shown in Figure 3-13 (2).
NOTICE
– Pull out the SPC slowly and smoothly so that it does not bump into neighboring
boards and cause a malfunction.
– When removing an SPC, do not touch the parts on it to avoid damaging the SPC.

4. Place the removed SPC into the ESD bag.

Insert a new SPC into the SPU.

Take out the new SPC from the ESD bag.

2. Holding the captive screws of the SPC, insert the SPC smoothly along the guide rails of
the slot until the SPC is full inserted, as shown in
Figure 3-14 (1).
3. Using the Phillips screwdriver, turn the two captive screws clockwise to tighten them, as
shown in
Figure 3-14 (2).
