4.4 Intelligent Camera

The endpoint connects to one or two Huawei VPT300 intelligent cameras as shown in

Figure 4-4

Intelligent camera VPT300

The VPT300 has a compact design and consists of one base, one sound pickup pole, and two
VPC600s. Besides, the VPT300 provides 16 built-in microphones as a microphone array to
detect sound and locate the sound source using a function known as sound localization. The
VPT300 also provides a dual-camera system for face detection and video location. In a word,
the VPT300 supports speaker tracking with accurate localization and fast focus.
