If an alarm that is related to the battery is displayed on the alarm interface, handle it by
referring to the suggestion in the alarm items.
If the fault persists, contact the technical support engineers.
5.3 Checking the Status of the Fan
This section describes how to check the fan in the controller subrack through the OSM.
Reference Standard

No new alarms related to the fan are displayed on the alarm interface.

The running status of the fan is

Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the OSM.
Step 2
On the main menu, click
Device
.
Step 3
In the navigation, click
Controller Subrack xx
(

indicates the controller subrack ID).
NOTE
The parameters of the fans in the disk subrack is the same as controller subrack. To check the status of the
fans in the disk subrack, click
Device
on the main menu, and then click
Disk Subrack xx
(

indicates the
disk subrack ID) in the navigation tree.
Step 4
In the navigation tree, click
Fan
.
Step 5
In the operation area, click the
Fan Group0
or
Fan Group1
tab to view the information about
the fan. The parameter description is shown in

Subrack ID
This parameter indicates the ID of the controller subrack where the fan group
is located.
Fan ID
This parameter indicates the ID of the fan group. As shown in the real view
of the controller subrack, the ID of the fan group on the left is

Level
The running levels of a fan have the following options:
