Procedure
Step 1
Log in to DeviceManager.
Step 2
Choose
Data Protection
>
Remote Replication
>
Remote Replication
Consistency Group
.
Step 3
Right-click the desired consistency group and choose
Primary/Secondary Switchover
.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
Step 4
Confirm the primary/secondary switchover operation.
1.
Carefully read the contents of the dialog box, and click
OK
for confirmation.
The
Success
dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation is successful.
2.
Click
OK
to complete the primary/secondary switchover.

7.6 Enabling Protection For Secondary Resource Of
Consistency Groups
This operation enables protection for secondary resource of all remote replication pairs in
consistency group, and the data of secondary resource cannot be written to ensure the security
of the data from the secondary resource.
Prerequisites
Based on
Running Status
of a consistency group and
Secondary Resource Data Status
of
the remote replications added to the consistency group, determine whether protection for the
secondary resource can be enabled for the consistency group, as shown in
Table 7-7
