6 System Operation and Maintenance

6.4.4 Replacing the Fan

Prerequisites



The fan needs to be replaced.



A spare fan of the same model is available and functional.

Context

Recommended tools: protective gloves, Phillips screwdriver, diagonal pliers, cable tie

Preparation: Maintain from the front door.

Procedure

Step 1

Choose

Fan Maintenance

on the home screen to locate the SN of the faulty fan, and

tap

Power Off

Step 2

Open the front door, remove cables from the faulty fan, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove
the four screws from the faulty fan, and remove the faulty fan, as shown in

Figure 6-3

Step 3

Install the new fan in a reverse order of the removal.

Step 4

Connect cables to the new fan and close the front door.

on the home screen to locate the SN of the faulty fan, and

on the home screen and clear the fan runtime.
