8.4 Clearing an Alarm
This topic describes how to clear an alarm.
Scenarios
Clear an alarm according to the alarm reference.
During fault rectification, keep detailed records for each operation, results, and symptoms. The
information is required and necessary for contacting Huawei technical support.

Conditions
You have collected fault information.
Data
Data preparation is not required for this operation.

Procedure
Step 1
Check whether the collected fault information contains any alarm.
If yes, go to
If no, go to
Step 2
Clear the alarm according to the alarm reference. For details, see the
Appliance Alarm Handling (iBMC)
Step 3
Check whether the fault persists.
If yes, go to
If no, no further action is required.
Step 4
Contact Huawei technical support for help.
