To disable automatic updates, touch 

 on the Software update screen, then disable Auto-

download over Wi-Fi.

Update the Parameter Version of Your Device Online

The parameter version may update operator parameters, time zone parameters, and device
parameters, among others, and offer optimizations for functions, including the mobile
network, power consumption and performance, and feature compatibility. Your device will
prompt you to install the update for these parameters to be automatically adjusted for a
better experience.
Automatic update

Go to Settings > About phone > Parameter version, touch 

, and make sure that

Auto-update parameters is enabled.

When a new parameter version is detected, your device will automatically download and

update it.

You will be prompted if the device needs to be restarted for the update to take place.

Manual update

Go to Settings > About phone > Parameter version, touch 

, and disable Auto-

update parameters.

When a new parameter version is detected, a message will be displayed. Follow the

onscreen instructions to complete the update.
