2.5.2 ODF
This topic provides the appearance and the capacity related parameters of the ODF used in the
M200 cabinet.
The optical distribution frame (ODF) is used to connect the optical fibers and optical
communication devices. The ODF can perform the following:
Fasten and protect optical fibers.
Protect the cores of the peeled optical fibers.
Distribute optical fibers.
Adjust optical fibers.
Store optical fibers.
