Preparing for Power-On
Measuring Voltages
12.1
Mains Scenario (Lead-Acid Battery)
Solar+Mains Scenario (Lead-Acid Battery)
1. Use a multimeter to measure the voltages at both battery
terminals and ensure that the values are in the range of 43.2 V
DC to 56.4 V DC.
2. Use a multimeter to check that the voltage of the AC input circuit
breaker is in the range of 85 V AC to 300 V AC.
3. Switch on the battery circuit breaker and AC input circuit breaker.
4. Insert the PV input cable connector into the SSU to connect the
solar power supply.
After powering on the SMU, select the display language by pressing or on the language selection screen, and then press to
enter the system information screen.
Setting the Display Language
12.2
To change the language that you have set, remove and then reinsert the SMU. Restart the SMU, and select a language again.
Solar Scenario (Lead-Acid Battery)
1. Use a multimeter to measure the voltages at both battery
terminals and ensure that the values are in the range of 43.2 V
DC to 56.4 V DC.
2. Switch the battery circuit breakers to ON.
3. Insert the PV input connector into the SSU to connect the solar
power supply.
Mains Scenario (Lithium Battery)
Solar+Mains Scenario (Lithium Battery)
1. Use a multimeter to check that the voltage of the AC input circuit
breaker is in the range of 85 V AC to 300 V AC.
2. Switch on the battery circuit breaker and AC input circuit breaker.
3. If the lithium battery model is ESU-A2400Wh/D, flip the ESMU
power switches to ON.
1. Use a multimeter to check that the voltage of the AC input circuit
breaker is in the range of 85 V AC to 300 V AC.
2. Switch on the battery circuit breaker and AC input circuit breaker.
3. If the lithium battery model is ESU-A2400Wh/D, flip the ESMU
power switches to ON and wait for the initial power-on.
4. Insert the PV input connector into the SSU to connect the solar
power supply.
When there is no AC input in a solar+mains scenario (lithium
battery), remove the PSU, connect the battery supply, and then
reinstall the PSU.

NOTE
Setting Parameters
12.3
The LCD screen becomes dark if no button is pressed for 30 seconds.
You need to log in again if no button is pressed for 1 minute.
The preset password is 000001.
NOTE
For the preparation of the PV input cable connector, see the
appendix.
NOTE
5. Install battery activation cables.
The other end of the activation cables are connected before
delivery.
