Disconnecting the fire cylinder and fire extinguishing pipeline

Remove the I-shaped connection pipe.

Remove the threaded adapter from the container valve of the fire cylinder, as shown by
(2) in

Figure 5-76

Step 5

Remove the pressure operated switch hose from the container valve of the fire cylinder.

Step 6

Remove the screws securing the fire cylinder using a Phillips screwdriver, and remove the fire
cylinder fasteners.

Step 7

Remove the faulty fire cylinder from the installation position.

Step 8

Move the new fire cylinder to the installation position, and tighten the fire cylinder fasteners.

Keep the pressure gauge panel outwards so that people can view the reading.

Step 9

Connect the hose to the pressure operated switch.

Wrap the threads with sealing tape to ensure air tightness.

Step 10

Connect the fire cylinder to the fire extinguishing pipeline.
