3.2 Configuring the Service Through the N2000 BMS
This topic describes how to configure the CATV service and upgrade the ONT through the
N2000 BMS.
Context
To upgrade the ONT remotely through the NMS on the OLT side, do as follows:
3.2.3 Collecting the Fault Information
When the GPON service is faulty, you need to collect the fault information through the NMS.
3.2.1 CATV Service

The parameters related to the CATV service are
Number of CATV Ports
in the GPON service profile and
Number of CATV ANI Ports

3.2.2 Upgrading the ONT
To upgrade the ONT remotely through the NMS on the OLT side, do as follows:

Step 1
On the
Physical Map
navigation tree on the
Main Topology
tab page, double-click the required
OLT; or select the required OLT, right-click, and then choose
Device Management
.
Step 2
Choose
GPON
>
GPON ONU
from the navigation tree on the tab page that is displayed.
Step 3
On the
GPON ONU
tab page, set the querying criteria to display the required GPON ONUs.
Step 4
Select a required ONU from the list, right-click, and then choose
Upgrade Terminal
.
