When your phone is powering on, after the Ascend animation ends, touch and hold the
volume down key until

Save mode

is displayed in the lower left corner. To exit safe mode,

restart your phone.

2.26 Can I use power adapters other than the included
one to charge my phone?

Only Huawei chargers can be used to charge your phone. Your phone has a charging
protection circuit. However, it is recommended that you use the power adapter provided with
your phone, because non-standard power adapters may generate excessive current that
shortens your battery's life span or lower current that prolongs the charging time.
