1.1 Overview

Before using a video terminal, the available terminal models, specifications, and main functions
should be understood so that a terminal can be properly selected and used.

The HUAWEI 9000 HD video terminal series (HUAWEI 9000 for short) is a series of new-
generation HD video terminals provided by Huawei. The HUAWEI 9000 adopts advanced
videoconferencing technologies to provide HD video and high-fidelity (hi-fi) audio.

The HUAWEI 9000 supports multiple types of audio-visual sources. With rich interfaces and
customizable settings, the HUAWEI 9000 provides a professional and personalized real-time
videoconferencing environment.

The HUAWEI 9000 consists of the following terminal models: ViewPoint 9039 (ViewPoint
9039-T and ViewPoint 9039-M), ViewPoint 9039S (ViewPoint 9039S-M), HUAWEI VP9036S
(HUAWEI VP9036S-M), ViewPoint 9036 (ViewPoint 9036-M), ViewPoint 9035, ViewPoint
9033, ViewPoint 9030, HUAWEI VP9039A (HUAWEI VP9039A-T, HUAWEI VP9039A-TS),
and HUAWEI VP9035A. In the preceding models,

terminal is to be used in a Huawei telepresence system and

 indicates that the corresponding

terminal provides a built-in Multipoint Control Unit (MCU).

NOTE

The HUAWEI VP9039A-TS does not support the simultaneous transmission of 1080p 30Hz or 720p 60Hz
video and presentation.
