6.10.3 AP Regular Login
APs can work in Fat, Fit, or cloud mode. The mode of non-first login to APs varies depending
on the AP mode.

Fat AP: allows login to the CLI or web platform in wired or wireless mode. After login
to the AP, you can perform service configuration and maintenance.
l
Fit AP: goes online on the AC after connecting to the WLAN. Then you can operate and
maintain Fit APs on the AC. If a Fit AP goes offline from the AC, you can log in to the
CLI of the Fit AP for maintenance.
l
Cloud AP: goes online on the Agile Controller-Campus after connecting to the WLAN.
Then you can operate and maintain cloud APs on the Agile Controller-Campus. If a
cloud AP goes offline from the Agile Controller-Campus, you can log in to the CLI or
web platform for maintenance.
6.10.3.1 Logging In to an AP Through the Web Platform
Applicable Mode
This login mode is applicable to Fat APs and cloud APs.
Before logging in to an AP through the web platform, connect a terminal to the AP using an
Ethernet cable or in wireless mode to ensure that they are reachable to each other. Then you
can log in to the AP using a browser.
