MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
RACK MOUNTED REAR CHILD SEAT (I) EN 14344
GENERAL WARNINGS
It is recommended that children are being transported in the child seat only when they are able to sit without effort. The child seat should be installed
on the rear seat rack and always facing forward.
The child seat can be mounted on bicycles with 26 “and 28” wheels. However, in case of doubt regarding mounting or how to use the child seat, you
must contact the trusted retailer or manufacturer who sold the seat.
The rear child seat is approved for the transport of children between 9 months and 6 years old and who have a total weight of less than 22 Kg.
• Do not mount on bikes with rod brakes.
• No mounting tools are included in the package.
• Verify that all the parts on the bicycle operate correctly after mounting the child seat.
• Mounting the seat to the rear seat rack must comply with ISO 11423.
WARNING: safety devices must always be secured.
PARTS INCLUDED

2. 2 Foot rests and 2 foot straps;

1. Plate inserted into the child seat (photo A)
2. Check that the centre of gravity on the side of the child seat is properly aligned and not moved more than 10 cm from the wheel hub (Photo B);
2. Attach the seat to the bicycle’s rear carrier (Photo C) and fully tighten the knob on the seat rack plate (1) until it locks. Insert the safety tab into the
slot located on the handle.
3. Secure the seat to the frame bars (Photo D) with the safety strap (2)

4. Lift the locking pin (Photo G) on the footrests and adjust them to fit the length of the child’s legs.
5. Lower the locking pin (Photo H) on the footrests to lock them in place.

To adjust the leg height, press firmly inward and lift the footrest, then move it to the appropriate notch (Photo 1).
Insert the footrests into the slots and fasten in place. Make sure all parts are fixed together (Photo 2).
6. Place the child in the seat, secure the child with the safety straps and tighten.
7. Secure the child’s feet with the straps (Photo L).
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
- Do not add other items or loads to the child seat. Additional supports, such as front racks or baskets, should be installed and used instead.
- When the child seat is mounted, make sure the fork is correctly inserted into the locking bracket. Make sure the child seat has enough space betwe-
en the baby’s legs and the adult’s legs. Make sure there is no interference with the moving parts (e.g. Pedals, brakes, gearshift, spoiler, etc.).
- Do not make any changes to either the child seat or its components. Otherwise, the manufacturer’s warranty and/or liability will be voided;
- Never put two children in the same child seat at the same time;
- Periodically inspect the seat to make sure it is in proper working order;
- Make sure the seat is correctly attached to the bicycle and is functioning properly before each use;
- Do not transport the bicycle on a car rack with the child seat attached;
- Never leave a child in the seat when the bicycle is parked;
- Pay particular attention to ensuring that the child does not come into contact with moving parts;
- The maximum permissible bicycle load must not be exceeded.
- Make sure the child is wearing appropriate protective clothing when sitting on the bike. In the event of rain, make sure the child wears waterproof
clothing.
- Do not use the seat on motorcycles, racing bikes, suspension bikes or folding bikes.
- Make sure there are no frayed brake cables that could hurt the child. If there are, replace them immediately.
