3. USING THE AIR COMPRESSOR
NOTE: The air compressor is rated for 100 PSI.
WARNINGS:
•
Read the instructions of the product being inflated before using the compressor.
•
Avoid over-inflation. Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended
pressures.
•
Do not leave the air compressor unattended during use.
•
Do not run compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time. If more inflation is
needed, shut off and wait 20 minutes before use.
3.1 Inflating vehicle tires:
1. Turn on the lithium jump pack.
2. Insert the compressor power cord into the lithium jump pack output socket.
3. The white LED will light.
4. Thread the end of the compressor hose onto the tire valve; turn the end to tighten.
5. Press the ON/OFF switch to begin inflation. Use the gauge to monitor the
pressure.
6. When the desired pressure has been reached (generally 200-220 kPa),
press the switch to turn the compressor off.
7. Loosen the compressor hose and remove from the tire.
8. Unplug the power cord from the lithium jump pack.
9. Allow compressor to cool before storage.
3.2 Inflating balls and air mattresses:
1. Turn on the lithium jump pack.
2. Insert the compressor power cord into the lithium jump pack output socket.
3. The white LED will light.
4. Connect the desired adaptor to the compressor hose valve stem by threading
it onto the end.
5. Attach to the device to be inflated.
6. Press the ON/OFF switch to begin inflation. Use the gauge to monitor the pressure.
7. When the desired pressure has been reached, press the switch to turn the
compressor off.
8. Remove the compressor hose and from the inflated device and unthread the
adaptor from the valve stem.
9. Unplug the power cord from the lithium jump pack.
10. Allow compressor to cool before storage.
