The frameless Multikite combines the most beautiful sides of kite flying:

The contemplative and relaxed sides of flying a single line kite and the

sporting challenges of flying a stunt kite with two lines. Both are so sim-

ple that we recommend the kite for kite fliers starting at 12 years.
As a single line kite, the Multikite develops a mild but definite pull. The

long tube tail stabilises its flight.
To convert the kite into a stunt kite, simply remove part of the line, con-

nect the wrist loops, and you’re ready to start. The Multikite now only

pulls a little, but is fully manoeuverable. Curves, loopings and dives – the

long tube tail paints every movement into the sky.
The Multikite is made from sturdy polyester cloth – including the tube tail.

Equipped in this manner, it can also handle rougher treatment. Since it

has no rods, it packs very small, making it possible to take it on any trip,

regardless of the mode of travel!

Assembly

The Multikite is already on a line and ready to fly as a single line kite.

Before starting, make sure that the bridle lines are not tangled.

Starting and flying as a single line kite

Before starting, take enough line off the spool so that the double line is

completely unrolled; that is, at least 25m. Lay out the line in the direction

of the wind; the pilot’s back facing into the wind. A helper should hold

up the kite. When the pilot signals, the kite is released to the elements.

You can let more line off the spool as soon as the kite has gained some

height.

Conversion into a stunt kite

The conversion is very simple: The steering lines are simultaneously also

the upper sections of the single line kite flight lines. Small hooks connect

them to the ring on the single line. Simply detach the hooks and attach

them to the rings of the hand loops which are included with the kite. Now

you’re ready to go!  If you only want to fly your Multikite as a stunt kite in

the future, it makes sense to store the flight lines on the enclosed winder.

Tips regarding the tail

The tube tail takes on a better shape while flying if a loose knot is tied in

its end, closing it. The knot should be loose so that it can be opened e.g.

to shake out sand which may have collected in it. After flying, simply roll

the tail up from the closed end!

The winder

The two lines which are used to steer the Multikite as a stunt kite can be

wrapped together onto the included winder.
