Removing the bezel
Procedure
1.
Remove the Kensington security lock.
2.
Remove the bezel.
a.
Press the latch.
b.
Open the bezel.
c.
Detach the bezel from the latch ear.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Powering down the server
IMPORTANT:
When the server is in standby mode, auxiliary power is still being provided to the
system.
Prerequisites
Before powering down the server for any upgrade or maintenance procedures, perform a backup of
critical server data and programs.

To power down the server, use one of the following methods.
• Press and release the Power On/Standby button.
