Removing a riser cage
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the internal
system components to cool before touching them.
Procedure
1.
If installed,

Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5.
Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack
.
•
Remove the server from the rack
7.
Disconnect any internal cables that are connected to the expansion board.
8.
If the GPU is installed in the secondary riser cage, do the following:
a. Disconnect the power cable from GPU
b.
To release GPU, press the latch on the air baffle.
9.
Remove the riser cage:
