4. Insert the chosen die into the index block. See Fig. 4.

5. Strike the stamp with your hammer. Continue by moving the index block after each desired character has been stamped. See Fig. 5.

6. Note the centering of the type when stamping. See Fig. 6.

7. The Stamp Aligner

™

XL can hold two key blanks or standard mortise cylinders at a time for stamping. See Fig. 7.

8. To stamp cylinders, remove the stamping plate to access the cylinder holes. Use the set screws to secure the cylinder in place. See

Fig. 8.

9. To use the optional Schlage or Best I. C. stamping plates, loosen the 2 locking bolts (you do not need to remove them). Remove the

universal stamping plate, replace with the Schlage or Best I. C. stamping plate, and tighten the locking bolts. See Fig. 9.
