wireless networking concepts
The WL520 provides wireless access to network infrastructures. As wireless clients move from one coverage cell to another,
WL520 units automatically allow client roaming within the same subnet.
To determine the best location for the Base Station units, we recommend conducting a Site Survey before placing the devices in
their final locations. For information about how to conduct a Site Survey, contact your local reseller.
Before the WL520 unit can be configured for your specific networking requirements, it must first be initialized. Initialization
consists of setting a static IP address and the appropriate IP mask for the WL520 unit so that you can recognize it once it is
located in your network.
