BIOS Summary
HP Vectra XE320 PCs contain an American Megatrends Inc. BIOS (Basic Input Output System). The
system ROM contains the POST (power-on self-test) routines, and the BIOS: the System BIOS, video
BIOS, and Intel LAN boot ROM.
The system BIOS is identified by the version number JN.xx.yy. The latest BIOS version for your HP
XE320 PC and instructions for updating the BIOS can be downloaded from HP’s Support Web site at:

Using the HP Setup Program
Entering the Setup Program

Restart the computer.

F8
at power on to enter the Boot menu.

In the Boot menu press
F2
to enter the
Setup
program.
Entering the Summary Screen
The summary screen shows the computer’s configuration, with information such as processor speed,
memory size, and BIOS version. To enter the summary screen:

Restart the computer.

Esc
at power on, the summary screen appears momentarily, press
Pause
to keep it displayed.
