How do I create a voice note?

Open HP TouchSmart, and select the
Notes
tile.

Select the
Microphone
icon at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the
Record
button to record a short message.

Tap the
Stop
button to stop recording your message.

Tap the
Play
button to review your message.

Tap
Keep
or
Cancel
. Tap
Done
to save the voice note.
How do I delete a text or voice note?
To delete a note:

Open HP TouchSmart, and select the
Notes
tile.

Press and drag the note you want to delete into the Recycle Bin in the bottom right corner of the
window.

Tap the
Recycle Bin
icon to open it, tap to select the items you want to delete, and then tap the
Delete Selected
button.

Tap
Done
.
To restore a note (you can do this only if you have not deleted files in the Recycle Bin):

Open the Recycle Bin.

Select the note you want to restore (by tapping it).

Tap the
Restore Selected
button.
How do I display the temperature and forecast for a city?

Open HP TouchSmart, and select the
Weather
tile.

Tap the
Settings
button.

Tap in the
Set Location
box, and then use your keyboard or the onscreen keyboard to enter a city,
state, ZIP or postal code.

Tap the
Search
button. Your city appears in the
Select Your City
box.

Select
Fahrenheit
or
Celsius
.

OK
to confirm the settings.

Tap the
House
icon to return to the HP TouchSmart homepage.
Can I connect an old printer to my HP TouchSmart
computer?
HP TouchSmart supports USB and wireless printer connections. If your printer has a parallel port, you must
buy a USB parallel printer adapter.
Also, you will need to download a printer driver that works with Windows Vista. Most HP TouchSmart
computers run Windows Vista 64-bit, so make sure you get a 64-bit driver (if you have a 64-bit system).
