2.1 Open the battery cover

2.2 Loading the Battery
Before using the camera, you must load the supplied Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
Insert the battery according to the correct polarity marks ( + or -). 1.
Close the battery cover firmly. 2.
Note
If the camcorder does not power up, make sure that the battery orientated properly. •
