Configuring SRM to communicate with XP Virtualization Adapter
To configure SRM to communicate with XP Virtualization Adapter, complete the following steps:
1.
Configure Array Manager
When the protected and recovery SRM servers have been paired, click
Configure
to configure
Array Manager to use XP Virtualization Adapter.
2.
Add XP Virtualization Adapter to SRM on the protected site
From the Configure Array Managers window, click
Add
to add connection information for the
XP Virtualization Adapter.
• If the SRM and XP Virtualization Adapter are using a remote connection
• Select the XP Virtualization Adapter from the Manager Type that is connected to XP Virtu-
alization Adapter.
• Enter the Alias to connect to XP RAID Manager instance via XP Virtualization.
