—A minimum of 24 cu ft/min of airflow is available to the
air intake vents on the nonport side of the switch.
8/40, 8/80, Encryption, and 1606 Extension SAN Switches
—Air flows from the nonport
side to the port side. A minimum airflow of 79.8 cu m/hr (47 cu ft/min) is available in
the immediate vicinity of the switch.
Ambient air temperature does not exceed 40ºC (104ºF) while the switch is operating.
FCoE Converged Network Switch
—Air flows from the nonport side to the port side.
Maximum airflow of 71.36 cu m/h (42 cu ft/min), nominal airflow of 59.47 cu m/h (35
cu ft/min).

SAN Switch
—One rack unit in a 48.3 cm (19 inch) cabinet.
8/80 and Encryption SAN Switches
—Cabinet space of 2U in an EIA 19-inch cabinet.
All equipment in the cabinet is grounded through a reliable branch circuit connection.
Additional weight of the switch does not exceed the cabinet's weight limit.
Cabinet is secured to ensure stability in case of unexpected movement, such as an
earthquake.
