Some drive models may have a sound cable. If so, connect the sound cable.

Replace the fan assembly.

Connect the fan power cable (

).

Lower the fan assembly into place (

).

Slide the fan assembly back (

C

). Set the three tabs on the fan assembly into the three slots in the back 

panel. Snap the two posts on the fan assembly into the two receptacles on the drive tray.

Replace the PC cover and close the PC. Complete the “Closing the PC” procedures on page 5. 

 

 

 

WARNING: Route the fan power cable around the power supply cable lines, exactly as 
removed, to prevent the fan power cable from contacting fan blades.
