Lift the rear edge of the hard drive bay cover

, swing it forward, and remove the cover. The hard
drive bay cover is included in the Plastics Kit, spare part number 448171-001.

Loosen the Phillips PM2.5×12.0 screw

that secures each hard drive to the computer.

Disconnect the hard drives

from the system board by sliding the hard drives away from the hard
drive connectors.

Remove the hard drives

from the hard drive compartments.

If it is necessary to replace the hard drive bracket, remove the four Phillips PM3.0×4.0 screws

that secure the hard drive bracket to the hard drive.
