When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the defective
system board and installed on the replacement system board:
● Memory modules (see Memory module on page 54 )

RTC battery (see RTC battery on page 56 )
●
WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 57 )
●
Bluetooth module (see Bluetooth module on page 82 )
●
ExpressCard assembly (see ExpressCard assembly on page 85 )
●
Optical drive connector board (see System board on page 92 )
Remove the system board:
1. Turn the computer upside down with the front toward you.
2. Remove the Phillips PM2.5×8.0 screw that secures the system board to the base enclosure.
3. Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
