Using the Hub Console
The hub console is an easy to use, intuitive interface that prompts you for
input and guides you through any configuration. The hub console consists of
two regions as described in the next section.
The Console’s Two Regions
The hub console interface has two regions:
■
the Command Prompt region
which you enter at first. This region
enables you to perform tasks by issuing commands. For details on using
commands in this region, see Table 2-1.
■
the Menu System region
which you access by entering
ME
from the
command prompt. The menus enable you to configure hub, port, and
network settings through screens that contain fields and prompts. See
“The Console Menu System” later in this chapter, and for details on each
of the menus in this region, see chapter 6.
