Locate the LSI RAID board at the bottom of the cage. The board has a white battery pack
mounted on the memory module.

Remove the securing screw.
16.
Remove the LSI RAID board and place it on a flat and clean static-free surface.
17.
Release the latches holding the memory module in the DIMM socket.
18.
Remove the memory module from the LSI RAID board.
19.
Insert the new memory module into the DIMM socket on the LSI RAID board. Verify that it
clicks into place.
20.
Reinsert the LSI RAID board into the PCI riser cage. Secure the LSI RAID board with the
original securing screw.
21.
Place the PCI riser cage back into its position in the server chassis.
