Specifying an AS number and a router ID for BGP LS
messages
Perform this task to ensure that LS messages sent by devices in the same AS have the same AS
number and router ID.
To specify an AS number and a router ID for BGP LS messages:

Configuring BMP
The BGP monitoring protocol (BMP) enables a BGP router (BMP client) to send session status
information of the specified peers to BMP servers for monitoring. The session status information
includes peer relationship establishment and termination as well as routing information. The BMP
client communicates with the BMP servers through TCP connections.
To configure BMP:
