Installation

Installation

To connect cables to an HP 83492A

On HP 83492A modules, the front-panel fiber-optic connectors reverse input 
and output roles depending on the wavelength of the signal. Signals in the 
750 nm to 860 nm wavelength range are input to the left connector and output 
from the right connector. Signals in the 1000 nm to 1600 nm wavelength range 
are input to the right connector and output from the left connector.
