Replacing a card
All cards of the 12500E are hot-swappable.
Preparing for the replacement
1.
Put on an ESD wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact and is correctly
grounded.
2.
Unpack the card to be installed. If the card has a protection cover, remove the protection cover.
Keep the removed protection cover for future use.
For more information about how to remove the protection cover, see "Installing the switch."
3.
Remove the network cables and power cords from the card to be removed.
