Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the Chromebox for disassembly (
Preparation for disassembly on page 27
).
2.
Remove the bottom cover (
).
3.
Remove the I/O side frame (
4.
Remove the bottom shield (
).
Remove the solid-state drive:
1.
Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.9 screw (1) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board.
2.
Remove the solid-state drive (2) by sliding it away from the slot at an angle.
Reverse this procedure to install the solid-state drive.
