Port Status Menu Selections
The second menu selection on the main menu is Port Status. The Port Status drop down menu
displays the following selections:
• Breakout Box
• Data Scope
• Termio
• Register Dump
Breakout Box
The Breakout Box sub-menu allows you to do real time monitoring of data and control signal
leads, calculated received and transmitted rates and cumulative bi-directional character counts.
Figure 2-7 shows the port name of the selected device.

If the port name displayed in the device selection box is incorrect, enter the correct port name in
the space provided on the screen.
