To remove the optical drive, disconnect the power and
data cables from the rear of the drive

press the green lever to disengage the drive from the
drive bay

Slide the optical drive out of the front of the computer.
8.
To remove the hard drive cage, disconnect the power
and data cables from the rear of the hard drive.
9.
Remove the screw that secures the hard drive cage to
the computer

, remove the cable from the clip in the
cage
(2)
, and then rotate the cage up and remove it
from the computer
(3)
.
10.
Open both latches of the memory module socket
(1)
,
and then lift the module from the socket
(2)
. Use the
same procedure to remove all memory modules.
11.
Touch the replacement memory module bag to the
metal of the computer, and then remove replacement
memory module from the bag.
