Use a digital voltmeter to check the voltages and an oscilloscope to check
the ripple.

HP-IB Address Switch

Set the switch as indicated in Figure 6-10 (the dark side of the switch is
depressed). The HP-IB address switch is on the instrument rear panel. It is
easy to access but need not be changed unless the error message

SYSTEM BUS

ADDRESS ERROR

is displayed on the HP 8510 screen. Decimal twenty one,

binary 10101 (on, off, on, off, on) is the default setting.
