Command
:VOLT[1]:OFFSet
Long
[:SOURce]:VOLTage[1][:LEVel][:IMMediate]:OFFSet
Form
Set & Query
Parameter
Numeric
Parameter suffix
V
with engineering prefixes.
Value coupling
Range coupling
With Amplitude, see
*RST value
0.0 mV
Specified Limits
–10 V to +10 V
Description
Use this command to program the offset voltage of the OUTPUT signal.
Note that to set the OUTPUT levels in terms of voltage, you first have to
execute the
[:SOURce]:HOLD VOLTage
command to enable the
[:SOURce]:VOLtage
subsystem.
The available voltage range is limited by the combination of:
•
Specified current limits
•
Actual OUTPUT impedance setting
:OUTPut:IMPedance
•
Actual expected load impedance setting
:OUTput:IMPedance:EXTernal
Example
To set the offset voltage:
High =
Amplitude
2
Low = Offset –
Amplitude
2
:HOLD VOLT
:VOLT:OFF –800MV
Enable VOLTAGE subsystem
Set OUTPUT offset to –800mV
