Hard drive
The hard drive is located in the drive cage, above the optical drive. You must remove the drive cage to remove
the hard drive. You must remove the optical drive to remove the drive cage.
NOTE:
Before you remove the old hard drive, be sure to back up the data from the old hard drive so that you
can transfer the data to the new hard drive.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the access panel (

Remove the optical drive (

Remove the front bezel (
5.
Disconnect the power cable (1) and drive cable (2) from the rear of the hard drive.
6.
Press the release lever on the side of the drive cage (1).
7.
Rotate the drive cage up (2), and then remove it from the computer (3).
