Avoid touching or covering the lens once the
halogen lamp is lit. The lens gets very hot.
•
The light beam is so powerful that it can cause
scorching. Therefore, avoid pointing it at
another person or nearby surfaces.
•
Never replace the bulb while the lamp is
charging!
Charging
The lamp can be charged using the accompanying
charger or lead, which can be connected to the
cigarette lighter in a car or boat, for example.
Before it is used for the first time, the halogen
lamp must be charged for approx. 10 hours.
Subsequently, the lamp can be charged in approx.
4 hours.
•
Check the lamp is switched off at the on/off
button (4).
•
Insert charger plug or cable in charger jack
(3) on lamp.
•
Remember to switch off the charger after the
specified charging times, otherwise the battery
may become damaged.
Always charge the battery immediately after using
the halogen lamp. If the lamp is stored with the
battery uncharged, the operating time of the lamp
may be reduced.
Use
•
Switch on and off using the on/off button.
•
The two handles (2 and 7) make it possible to
use the lamp for a wide range of purposes. The
upper handle (2) can be set in two positions
by pressing the lock button (1) moving the
handle and releasing the button.
•
Always switch off after use.

Cleaning and maintenance
Clean with a well-wrung damp cloth.
Replacing the battery
•
Remove the lamp body by unscrewing the
collar (6) counter-clockwise.
•
Unscrew the battery cover and remove the
battery.
•
Insert a new battery (6 V, 4 Ah).
•
Replace the battery cover and the lamp body.
•
Dispose of used batteries in accordance with
local rules and regulations.
Replacing the bulb
•
Remove the lamp body by unscrewing the
collar counter-clockwise.
•
Lift the bulb out of the reflector.
•
Insert a new bulb into the reflector. Avoid
touching the bulb with your fingers, as
residues from sweat, grease or oil can cause
the bulb to overheat and blow when it is
turned on.
•
Replace the lamp body.
Storage
Store in a dry place.

Dispose of unwanted electrical
equipment at an approved refuse
disposal centre.
Take out the batteries before scrapping
