TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

The air conditioner runs anti-mildew function after turning off the unit. When turning off the unit

under COOL (AUTOCOOL, FORCED COOL) and DRY mode, the air conditioner will run in this function
for 7-10 minutes, then stop the operation and turn off the unit automatically.  Anti-mildew turns off
on HEAT mode, the unit will continue operating for about 30 seconds at LOW fan speed then stop
the operation and turn off the unit automatically.

Dripping water may form on the surface of the indoor unit when cooling in high relative

humidity. Adjust the horizontal louver to the maximum air outlet position and select HIGH fan speed.

Heating mode. The air conditioner draws in heat from the outdoor unit and releases it via the indoor unit

during heating operation. When the outdoor temperature falls, heat drawn in by the air conditioner
decreases accordingly. At the same time, heat loading of the air conditioner increases due to larger
difference between indoor and outdoor temperature. If a comfortable temperature can't be achieved
by the air conditioner, we suggest you use a supplementary heating device.

Auto-restart function.  Any power failure or drop in DC voltage below 46v will stop the unit completely

until power is restored or batteries charge above 48v. When power restores, the unit restarts automatically
with all the previous settings preserved by the memory function.

Power is on but unit wont run. Power surge, nearby lighting ballast, unshielded electrical wiring, wireless

interference, use of other IR remote controllers (like used for TV etc.) or other electronic interference
nearby may cause the unit and/or the remote control IR receiver to malfunction. Disconnect the unit
completely from power for 30 seconds and then re-connect the unit with power again. Push the ON/OFF
button on the remote controller to restart  operation. Do not allow direct sunlight to shine on the remote
control IR receiver of the indoor unit.

The protection of outdoor low temperature. The protection of outdoor low temperature can be

activated only in the HEATING mode. The unit will stop operating and display "P3“ on the LCD window
of the indoor unit when the outdoor temperature is lower than 5F(-15C) for one hour, but the indoor
unit in this situation can still receive the signal from the remote controller. The unit will restart
automatically with all the previous settings preserved by the memory function when the outdoor
temperature is or higher than 11F (-12C) for 10 minutes and the compressor stops operating for
more than one hour, or when the outdoor temperature is or higher than 41F (5C) for 10 minutes.
