2. Bin Control Installation
For KM-320/515/600/650M_H, install the bin control as described below. For KM-901M_H/3,
the bin control is factory installed and ready for use.
a) KM-320/515/600/650M_H
NOTICE
Before operating the icemaker, the bin control must be installed. Failure to properly
install the bin control could result in ice backup and icemaker damage.
1) If not already removed, remove the front panel, top panel, and the base cover. See
Fig. 3.
2) Remove the bin control assembly from the compressor compartment.
3) Remove the 4 thumbscrews from the right side of the base case, then attach the bin
control assembly to the icemaker using the 4 thumbscrews. See Fig. 4.
Note: When used with a Coca-Cola Freestyle
®
Dispenser, the bin control mount must
be attached to the bin control extension bracket in the factory set position. When
used with a normal dispenser or ice storage bin, the bin control mount can be
attached to the bin control extension bracket in the factory set position or installed
as shown in Fig. 5. After attaching the bin control assembly to the icemaker, follow
steps 4 and 5 to complete bin control installation.
4) Pull the bin control cable so there is no slack in the ice drop area. Secure the bin control
cable into the "J" slot on the frame.
5) Route the bin control cable across the outside of the frame to the pump motor wire
harness. Route the bin control cable along the pump motor wire harness and into the
top frame. Connect the bin control cable to the bin control connector (white). See Fig. 3.
