NOTE: 

Turn off the pool pump before connecting the 

sunCOIL

.  Block water flow at the Pool 

Return & Skimmer. 

WARNING:  The Flow Reducer must be installed on the filter side of the 

sunCOIL

.  

(When more than one 

sunCOIL

 is connected, the Flow Reducer must be installed in the 

sunCOIL

 

on the side that is the nearest to the Filter. There is no need to install a

Do not forget to unblock the Pool Return & Skimmer before turning on the pump.

 - Pool Connections

1. Filter to Diverter Valve Connection

A. Wrap the threads of the 3 Hose Adaptors 

with Teflon tape 

(

provided). Twist these 

adaptors into the 3 ports at the Diverter Valve

 

B. Position the Diverter Valve exactly as shown 

in the diagram on Pa

g

e 4

 (see Fig 3)

.  

The valve must be installed correctly for the 

sunCOIL

 to work. Failure to position the Valve 

correctly will reduce the 

sunCOIL

 's ability to 

heat the pool water. 

C. After blocking the return fitting & Skimmer at 

the pool to prevent water from flowing out of

 

the pool, remove the hose at the pool wall that 

runs from the Filter System to the return fitting.

 

D. Connect

his hose to the common port of 

the Diverter Valve

A.  Put the orange Flow Reducer into the 

Elbow Connecter to be installed where clean 

water from the

B. If you are using the 1 1/2" diameter black 

hose (provided)

place the 1 1/4" - 1

C. Put the hose on the Elbow Connector &

 it with a stainless steel hose clamp.

D. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to 

the O-ring & put the O-ring in the grove on the 

short side of the Elbow Connector.

 

E. Insert the Elbow Connector into a port on 

the underside of the 

sunCOIL

 & twist to lock it 

in place.

F. Connect a hose from the Elbow to the 

Diverter Valve (see Fig.

 3 & 4

)
