3.3.6. Automatic cleaning

Provides an automatic cleaning cycle to run at any time when the operator wishes to clean the
instrument.
1- In " Service " menu, press " Customer services " button ( Diag.7-9 ).
The " Hydrau. " tab is displayed.
2- Press " Automatic cleaning " radio button.
3- Press " Start cycle " button ( Diag.7-11 ).

This auto clean cycle is a short cycle and may not provide enough cleaning action for fibrin clots
in the apertures and/or chambers. If this is the case, a concentrated cleaning is highly
recommended (See
3.3.5. Concentrated cleaning, page 7-9 ).
3.3.7. Mechanics
Mechanical movements check

This service function will allow the operator to check mechanical movements of the instrument
mechanisms (needle, syringes, valves, etc.). If the operator suspects a specific mechanical failure,
he may then verify it in this menu.

If needed, dismantle the covers (See 3.2. Cover dismantling, page 7-6 ).
1- In " Service " menu, press " Mechanical cycles " button ( Diag.7-12 ).
The " Moves " tab is displayed.
2- Select between the 7 functions below:
- Needle : this allows the operator to check the up and down movement of the sampling needle.
- Carriage : this allows the operator to check the left to right movement of the sample carriage.
- Liquid syringe : this allows the operator to check the up and down movement of the syringes.
- Vacuum syringe : this allows the operator to check the vacuum/waste syringe for complete
movement up and down.
- Valves : this allows the operator to operate all valves on the analyser in sequencial order from 1
to 13.
- Piercing motor (for CT only) : this allows the operator to view the sampling needle depth on
any position in the tube holder.
- Door opening (for CT only) : this allows the operator to check the tube holder opening
movement.
3- Press " Start cycle " button ( Diag.7-11 ).
