IMPORTANT  SAFETY  REMINDERS

This cleaner should only be used for domestic cleaning as described in these
instructions. Please ensure that these are fully understood before operating the
appliance. This product is double insulated and must not be earthed.

Important: The wires in the power cord are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue - Neutral

Brown - Live

13 Amp fused plug on UK versions only.

GETTING  STARTED

By following this step-by-step guide your new Sensory Ecobox system will be ready
for use:

Remove cleaner and accessories from packaging. Please dispose of the packaging
in a safe and environmentally conscientious way.

Open the top cover (A) ensuring that the Ecobox, Ecobox lid (B1), pre-motor filter
(B2) and exhaust filter (B3) are fitted correctly. Close the top cover.

Insert the hose end into the top cover, ensuring it clips and locks into position (C).
To release simply press in the two hose end latches and pull.

Fix the free end of the hose into the handle using the lock ring (D).

Fit extension tubes (E1), floor nozzle (E2), or other accessories as required for use.

Your Sensory Ecobox is now ready for use. Extract the plug and pull out all of the
cord. Plug in and switch on.

FEATURES  -  Depending  on  model,

Hoovers unique Ecobox is made from a special porous plastic material which
allows air to pass through whilst retaining most of the dirt and fine dust.

On/Off button (F). Once plugged in, press this button to start the cleaner. Press it
again to stop the cleaner before removing the plug after use.

Cord rewind button (G). Remove the plug from the power supply. Press this
button to wind the power cord back into the cleaner.

Overheating Protection. Cleaner automatically switches off. In this event extract
the plug from the socket and allow cleaner to cool for 30 minutes. Check if the
Ecobox needs cleaning or if there is a blockage in the system (see chapter:
“Cleaning The Ecobox” and “Removing A Blockage From The System”).

Fixed power control (depending on model). Adjust the suction by moving the
handle valve (H): suction will decrease when opening the valve. Use low suction
for delicate fabrics.

Variable power control (I) (depending on model). Rotate the on/off button to
increase or decrease suction. Use low suction for delicate fabrics.

Carpet and floor nozzle (J). Press pedal on the nozzle to lower the brushes when
cleaning hard floors. Press the pedal again to lift the brushes when cleaning
carpets.
