FITTING NOTES
Handle Replacement &Upper Cord Hook Replacement
Remove two screws in handle and slide handle out of top of the bag housing.
The Cord storage hook upper can be removed by pushing inwards 2 of the 4
lugs inside the handle whilst pulling the cord storage hook away from the
handle.
Top Cover Removal
Remove top screw in the handle.
Remove bag door to access the two screws at bottom of top cover. Take off top
cover.
Modules and
On/Off
Switches
Take off top cover and the module can be released from top cover.
To take off switch, pull off switch button and push switch through the top cover.
Hood and Activator
To remove hood, pull off height right knob and remove the two screws at rear of
hood.
Removing the hood allows access to the agitator and belt assembly.
The agitator is a non serviceable assembly.
Handle Control Lever
To remove handle control lever, remove hood.
The underside of the control lever can be accessed from the underside of
chassis. Compress lugs on either side of lever and push through chassis to
remove.
Motor Removal
Remove Hood.
Lower handle and bag housing to the floor.
Slide out the two trunion supports. Remove four screws holding motor cover.
This allows access to motor which can be removed.
Replace in reverse order.
